MTC choose bott for workshop fit out at new OAS Training Centre

In collaboration with the new OAS training centre, MTC chose bott to help deliver Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships for the high value manufacturing industry.

MTC Apprenticeships

Established in 2010, The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) is an independent research facility, that brings together some of the UK’s leading academics, engineers and industry professionals, to develop and demonstrate cutting-edge manufacturing processes and technologies. Back in 2012, we designed and installed a bespoke storage solution for the research facility at the MTC; providing them with a professional, efficient working environment, based completely around their needs.

10 years on, in collaboration with the new OAS (Oxfordshire Advanced Skills) training centre, ‘MTC Apprenticeships’ are delivering Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships - helping learners to develop the skills needed for delivering new technologies in the high value manufacturing industry. Having previously experienced the reliability of our products and to compliment the world-class learning facilities at the OAS, MTC chose bott workplace storage solutions to fit out the new workshop and lecture areas.

Hexagonal workbenches

A selection of storage cupboards, storage benches and framework benches from our cubio range, create a smart, professional look for the lecture rooms, along with ergonomic verso workstations and mobile solutions for electronics assembly. For the workshop, heavy-duty, hexagonal workbenches with steel clad worktops were supplied, with built-in bott vices.

We worked with bott to fit out our manufacturing facility back in 2012 and were delighted with the look and functionality of their products - which are still going strong. As MTC has expanded and opened new sites, such as the new OAS training centre, we have created new workshops and had no hesitation in asking bott to supply the storage equipment. We now have a variety of products across the sites and have complete confidence in working with bott.
