Me&dee provides invaluable practical and emotional support during difficult times, as well as giving families a chance to make memories together when time is very precious. It was formed to create special moments for families with children or adults who have a life-threatening, life-shortening or terminal condition.
The charity established in 2006, has for the past seven years been arranging caravan holidays at Mablethorpe, on the Lincolnshire coast. However, they have identified the need for a larger and more comfortable base nearer to home, offering easier year-round access, facilities to support medical needs and a location nearer to main hospitals at Derby and Nottingham.
The small me&dee team are currently therefore actively fundraising to make their 20/20 Vision of a specialised lodge in Sherwood Forest a reality and have hit an amazing £100,000 so far.
Bott were introduced to me&dee founder and unsalaried CEO, Maria Hanson MBE, by Love Business expo organiser Quiet Storm Solutions, who have assisted Bott with projects on a number of occasions.
Decals Supervisor Lynsey Dumford led the vehicle livery design work on behalf of Bott. She was truly touched by the work Maria and Mark undertake for families impacted by illness and was determined that the new me&dee graphics would be as impactful as possible.
Bott’s decals fitting team also did a great job in getting the old graphics removed and the new vehicle-wrap fitted in just one day.

Maria Hanson MBE said:
We’re extremely grateful to both Bott and Quiet Storm for their very kind support with this initiative. The reaction we’ve had from the business community since we launched our 20/20 Vision campaign has been overwhelming and this is just another example of the generosity that our business partners have shown towards our charity. Having the branded car will help us to take our message to even more people and make a huge impact on them at the events we attend throughout the year.

Liz Horsey, Bott’s Divisional Marketing Manager, said:
me&dee is a fantastic local cause which does vital work to support families that are gravely affected by illness. We are really pleased to be able to donate our time, resources and expertise to help raise awareness of the charity and hopefully boost fundraising to achieve the 20/20 Vision. We’re very proud of our East Midlands heritage and are committed to delivering social value to the communities we serve, live and work in.

Bott has also pledged to assist in me&dee the future, by helping to create signage at the new woodland hideaway.
