As part of the annual draining and refurbishment, FoBSP commissioned some new railings for the pool - designed to protect the many thousands of visitors from the occasional rock fall. Fabricated by Stainless Studio, the bespoke metalwork creates a cage effect for rocks to fall into, protecting anyone using the terraces below.

Having previously collected and delivered some repaired hand rails in 2018, the bott logistics team were more than happy to dive in again and transport the new fence panels back to Bude. With the benefit of having our own delivery fleet for customers all across the UK, we were able to effectively plan the pick-up using one of our Scania R-series vehicles. Driver Jason Yearby, collected the consignment from the West Midlands, then offloaded at Summerleaze Beach - ready for installation on 14^th May.
