After previously working with bott, Truro & Penwith College approached our project team to fit out their newest £7 million Valency building, bringing together engineering, welding, CNC machinery and electronic & digital laboratories.
The college were looking for a high-quality workplace system to optimise students’ learning experiences and equip them with skills and knowledge to set them up for a successful career. We suggested our cubio range; the heavy- duty storage system that lends itself to demanding industries such as engineering. The space was configured using our robust cubio workbenches, drawer cabinets and cupboards, a range that is truly built to last in our own UK manufacturing site.
Prepare for success with bott

The modular aspect of our products enabled the space to be used effectively, whilst ensuring that efficiency and ergonomics were at the forefront of the design. To help organise and protect tools, perfo wall panels were integrated into the workspace. With such a high volume of users with different requirements, our adjustable and customisable storage equipment stands the test of time, making it a go to choice for education providers. Engineering students at Truro & Penwith College can now apply their skills in an environment that emulates the workplace and supports their learning.

Quality products for a quality environment

When investing in new tools and equipment, we always aim to secure the highest quality products, which helps to ensure our student experience is outstanding... bott products are fundamentally high quality and well designed. Simple features such as adjustable legs on workbenches can be an important factor when teaching learners of differing ages and stature. The quality of bott products is always high and the finish very durable, it’s aspects like these that make a real difference to the end user... We are proud to buy British, and in the case of bott, just a couple of miles down the road in beautiful Cornwall, what’s not to like!
