For any business, moving premises can be a demanding experience, but moving and re-designing the entire workshop of a successful material handling company like STILL, is a challenge in its own right. STILL, suppliers of forklift trucks, platform trucks, tractors and warehouse handling equipment, recently contacted bott to kit out their brand new, purpose built workshop in Exeter, Devon.

Paul Penny, Workshop Team Leader at STILL said: “With STILL moving to a brand new workshop facility, bott was the first choice for all our new workshop storage equipment. We have used their cabinets, and benches over the past 15 years and have found them well manufactured and built to last to stand the test of time. bott have such a wide range of storage equipment available, allowing us to pick each item to suit our specific individual requirements”.

bott supplied cupboards, workbenches and mobile trolleys from the heavy-duty, high-quality bott cubio and bott perfo ranges, all customised in the STILL brand colours of orange and grey. The modular product forms individual workstations, with simple, adaptable, space-saving storage systems for tools and equipment, enabling the engineers to work more efficiently and safely.

Paul added: “One of the biggest benefits from using bott was the ability to customise each new unit with toolingholders, displaying our tools in a well presented way, making them readily available for use. All of this has become a major part of how we use our 5s lean process & Kanban systems in our workshop environment enabling us to keep to our extremely high standards.”
