As a Planning Coordinator, you will support in planning and coordinating vehicle conversions within the company. In this role you'll be responsible for ensuring that schedules, resources, and processes are managed efficiently and aligned with our organisational goals. The Planning Coordinator will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and with all necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and schedules to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
  • Communicate with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project objectives and deadlines.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including schedules, reports and timelines.
  • Identify any blockages or challenges that may affect both the direct and wider teams, by promptly highlighting these issues to all relevant parties, enabling necessary adaptations and preparations in advance.
  • Upholding a professional approach and maintaining a positive attitude toward internal and external colleagues is crucial. Effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork are key aspects of your role.
  • It is important to ensure strict adherence to all relevant processes and policies to maintain consistency and compliance within the organization.
  • Develop departmental knowledge to provide cover during holidays, sickness, or busy periods. Being flexible and agile in assisting other departments as and when required.

Essential Skills

  • Strong administration experience, ideally gained within a planning/scheduling position.
  • Highly organised and able to process large amounts of data accurately
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar integrated system (not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to develop own knowledge and skills within a highly motivated team
  • Although working in a team you must be self-motivated
  • A passion for delivering customer service excellence in a cost-effective way
  • Full UK driving license as they may be required to attend on site customer meetings

The hours of work are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday over 4.5 days

To be considered for this position all applicants must live within a commutable distance of our Ashby De La Zouch site in Leicestershire.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
