Apprenticeships have long been at the core of our business and with just over 20% of our workforce successfully benefiting from various apprenticeship schemes, it’s a trend we’re not about to alter. A good percentage of our longest serving employees, many of whom have been here their entire working life, have successfully risen up the corporate ladder from apprentice to higher management and executive level positions.
We have learned that one of the key building blocks in creating long term working relationships is cultivating a strong apprenticeship programme that fosters loyalty, ambition and talent in those that join us. Our apprenticeship schemes have provided us with a pool of skillful people who learn new skills quickly, are looking to progress their careers and understand the goals of the business. Their drive and positive input is rewarded with perks, benefits and career progression – mutually beneficial for the apprentice and bott.
