We take crash test safety very seriously. Crash tests are conducted by independent experts, to demonstrate the safety of each bott van racking system for drivers, passengers, and the load. Fully loaded vehicles are used for the tests – with the force being equivalent to that of a real traffic accident.

The crash tests simulate a collision between the vehicle and an obstacle at a speed of 50 km/h – in accordance with ECE directives.

The tests focus on the fixing points to the bodywork, the floor and side walls of the vehicle, as well as the overall construction of the van racking, including the removable parts like storage boxes.
